The speech in the begining was too long if you ask me. The SFX may have sucked, but all that did was make them funny. I couldn't stop laughing at the lightspeed effects.
Still, I give them credit for starting to make movies. It was the first one they made, and what do you expect of them? Walk to Moons may have been lame, but they have improved a lot since then.
Why do you call it Walk to Moons I? Was there ever a Walk to Moons II? or did they plan to make a Walk to Moons II but never got around to it?

Yeah, the speech was long, but the part inside the ship was funny. Its not as bad as I thought it would be at first. The FX are hilarious man.
I have no idea what BrilliantPebbles meant by Walk to Moons I

In the orignal release, the movie ended with a message that read "To Be Continued." Towne Films and JJ Film Productions planned to make part 2, which they did. However, it was later decided that part 2 would not be released (which is a long story, but there are certain reasons for it). With that said, the proper title for Walk to Moons still remains Walk to Moons I.

Hmm, so they did make a part 2. I'll just take your word for it that it probably wasn't worth seeing. But it just makes me wonder what it was about. I'm curious to know what happened next. Oh well.

Funny FX, but overall it sucked. The speech was long, everybody was reading their lines (and you could tell they were), you could see a a bunch of junk down the hallway were they filmed the inside of the spaceship (the scene were they were fighting).
Still, the hallway scene were they went into the elevator was cool. That was the best part. The effects were funny, and the goofs were funny too (the pants were falling off that guy with the red shirt!). But then again this was their first film, so they were trying to do stuff they hadn't done before. Actually, for a first try, it came out pretty well.

It may suck compared to the movies they're putting out right now, but they probably didn't think it sucked back then.
Yeah, I noticed the pants falling off that guy. That was funny.

The movie was filled with bloopers like that. They tried to make it serious, but the bloopers and the effects have turned it into a comedy. Shorten the opening speech, and send it to America's Funniest Home Videos.

Yeah, like the speech took forever. The lightspeed thingy was funny.
But it was a funny film, and it was the first film, so what could we expect.

Yeah, it was funny how they tried to make that part like Star Wars, but the sound fx that guy made were hiliarious. You could even hear some guy chukling in the background

You could also see somebody changing the outside scene from lightspeed to the martian orbit when and you see like these 2 hands putting the cardboard background there. It was like right after the lightspeed part

I could also see the American flag one time hanging on the inside of the ship, and a water fountain or something was there too.

OK, so we're pointing out bloopers now?
The film is full of bloopers. You could hear somebody dropping something in the speech, somebody laughing in the speech, you could see the stand holding up the ship in the lightspeed part, the pants falling off, sometimes you don't know if its just a goof or if it was a joke made on purpose
