OK, about this guy. What did you think of him? I think he should have been in the movie. I don't know what to make of him. He hands his daughter to the romans and then gets his family to murder Arminius, I think it would have been cool seeing him in the movie

I like to think that the guy in the campfire was Segestes. He was cool

I'd like to think that that was him too, but I don't think it was him. It doesn't list a Segestes in the credits, and they don't have any scene of that guy with Thusnellda or Nelly, or whatever her name was

Dude, don't mess up the movie for me. I like to see that guy as Segestes.

It says Chauci Leader in the credits though, not Segestes

I sympathize with your thinking that the Chauci Leader was Segestes, but look in the cast list, he's called the Chauci Leader, not Segestes.

That could be open to interpetation though

I personally think he was Segestes. The way he talked to Arminius and the way the other warlord was, it wouldn't suprise me if he did kill Arminius after the battle. Like, he even said "one day when they're gone you'll replace them" or something like that. He was afraid Arminius would replace the Romans so it makes sense that he would later kill him (which means he was Segestes).

He showed aggresive feelings towards Arminius, but that doesn't neccisarily mean that he was Segeste's himself. He always could have assisted Segestes in murdering Arminius

If there isn't a name for him in the credits, then its up to your own interpetation if you want to seem him as Segestes or not
