That scene was alright. The whole movie was cool, but I thought the best part was with the campfire when they were planning the battle

I just watched it a 2nd time. It was bad@$$!! Yeah, that was the most realistic of the scenes. I liked it, and the actor they had there was cool too. The one that walked out.

Well I'm glad some of you people liked it. Guess my putting a broom on my head and looking like a fool didn't go in vain.

I didn't notice it was a broom to be honest, I was just caught up in the scene. But the one who looked like a fool was Towne when he went out there and started shouting during the battle scene lol. But that was cool too.

Well, it wasn't exactly great. I think "A New Empire" is better just because its funnier and it has a lot more cool fx. Even though the locations were better here, I guess I'm not that big of a fan of that time period.

whatever!! this was way better than "A New Empire." And the sfx in Legiones Redde were awesome!
darth maul's daddy, even though you may not be a fan of the "time period," the films itself is a lot better than "A New Empire." Only a fanboy thinks otherwise

Even if this movie didn't go online, it would like be worth it anyway because its just that good. I wouldn't say you liked like a fool, you did like a good job actually.

I thought Varus' costume looked cool, with the animal skin and the helmet
This is a great film (compared to what others can do with the same resources). What was also good about it was the story. It had a little bit of everything, and it also had a sad ending, unlike the "happily ever after" which is so cliche nowadays

The battle in this film is so way way better than the one they had in New Empire

But then the plot was so complex, it felt like the movie went by kind of fast. It could easily be elaborated

I'm just saying that though this film may be better in some ways than "A New Empire," I still think "A New Empire" is better overall. There's a lot more cool fx. So I guess that makes me a "heretic" then doesn't it? Well, heresy depends on one's point of view. Long live the Sith!

This was better than "A New Empire" many times over. Even though "A New Empire" may have more shots with effects, that doesn't mean that the movie is better. This movie may not have had as much effects, but we could still watch it from start to finish with much interest in the story, not neccesarily the eye candy. Not that the film was without eye candy. We saw a lot of that with the arrows, and when the romans were coming out of Varus' camp (with an arena in it?)

A provincial arena, like the one they had in that desert town in Gladiator

That sequence with the Romans marching when they say "we head to the teutoburg" that was so awesome! The film had eye candy indeed. Only a certain fanboy here thinks otherwise
