Okay, what is TxPREP? What do you do there? Do you have to live in Texas to be in it? Can somebody explain.

Well, I'm not sure. I know some friends who have been there, so I'll try to explain. If anybody else out there knows more, then please add your info.
TxPREP stands for the Texas Prefreshman Engineering Program
Its for Middle school and High School students who make good grades and are interested in engineering
As far as I know its free, but you have to be accepted into it
You do it in 8 weeks over the summer, for 3 summers. On the 3rd summer you go to Houston.
I don't know if its in other states, but I know Texas has it.
Once again, I don't know for sure, so if somebody else knows, please feel free to correct me.

Thanks Brilliant Pebbles. I talked to my friend, and he said that you take classes like Logic, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, College Algebra, and some class about Mars and NASA.
