Yeah, Rome TW is a cool game. The footage from there was cool, but the lag brought it down.

But it was just a battle for showing off the game. We didn't see how any of the characters were involved in it, or how it affected the plot of the movie. However, I will say that the whole introduction sequence was cool and felt almost like we were going to see a cool full-length movie. But then the rest of the movie was short.

Yeah, the intro was really cool. I also wonder how they got that cool footage from Switzerland. It says that they filmed it in Switzerland, and some of those mountain videos look cool. How did they get a hold of that?

Well its obvious somebody went to Switzerland. It says "American Airlines" in the credits.

Towne took a trip to Europe that summer, and took lots of videos of Switzerland there.

Did they know they'll be doing the Beowulf movie back then?

Beatiful footage from there. I really liked that aerial shot above the trees and all.

I don't think they knew. I think that was just footage they took, and used it for the film. If they had more time, there could have been a better fight scene.

I think Legiones Redde is really going to outdo Beowulf. They have kind of similar time periods since they were using swords and all, but they've had more time plus better technology to do Legiones Redde. Forget the opening battle in Beowulf, I have a good feeling the battle in Legiones Redde is going to make it look like crap. Even though its cool seing the guys get blown up by fireballs in Beowulf, I think there's going to be a lot more emotion and meaning in the Legiones Redde battle, not to mention it will be performed with real actors.

I don't want to knitpick, but Denmark is almost completely flat. Good movie though, considering the budget you must have.

This wasn't as good as Legiones Redde. Kind of dissapointed but then I read it was made in 2004 so I guess you guys weren't experienced and all that back then but it was still cool hearing you guys saying all that old classical lines like the way people talked back then and stuff like the guy in the begining even though he messed up but the lines were cool

Well it looks so-so. I've only seen Part 1 though. The beginning was good up to the titles but then why did you leave that guy that messed up his lines? Couldn't you have redone that?
