Amazing you found KoRn doing Zepp, Mike. To anyone interested, here's a taste of a different (albeit temporary) KoRn with (or because of) Joey Jordison (of Slipknot fame) on drums and the now common backup band, their first concert after finishing their soon-to-be yet untitled eighth album, quite death metalish (especially at 3:05 and 4:38): www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxBGvvFnu8I

Okay, so I'm aware I'm pretty much the only one that posts in this thread now but I wanted to get everyone's opinion on the band "The Mars Volta." They're a band that originated here in El Paso and I gotta say they're pretty neat but they're also kind of scary. They've been known to experiment with various forms of music. Their first album was actually fueled by drugs which is the most likely reason for why their music can be scary. Anyways, here's a couple videos from them: <SNIP> Very good sound, and I like their style. But those are *interesting* hairstyles.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHiU36GDaEA

Interesting...but like you said, kind of freaky in some parts Yeah well it's basically for people who are living their lives on excess and none of us here need that, that's for sure. Sure it might sound good at first but people are basically being pulled into a life of decadence. Take it from me, I've seen the those kinds of people first hand and the way they are. So I guess what I'm saying is I probably shouldn't have even posted those videos here and am contemplating deleting them.

Yeah some stuff might seem scary and whatnot since there was drug inspiration, but just because an artist did drugs doesn't mean you have to copy them, just enjoy their music. As for the videos, they're alright with me. I see no problem in leaving them up. It's your call though.

I know where you're coming from, and for the most part that is true. However, I'd hate to say it but unfortunately, sometimes it's not so simple for some people. The sad truth is that sometimes someone is confronted with having a fear of losing control. Sometimes people witness things in this world and they're just shocked by the reality of things. Most of us here are lucky of course and we've been brought up around good families that teach us values we've been following since we've been born. So in a sense, these values we've been practicing have been etched into our minds and we've been disciplined by them, strengthening our resolve if you will. However, there are moments in a person's life where they come across a fork in the road, and they're just overwhelmed by the number of choices and possibilities, and it seems like sometimes you find yourself in a sort of "gray" area, and you just don't know "which" exactly is the right choice.
