They say there is a chance they could meet up again, but who knows how that would turn out Well, Michigan is #2 for now, but if USC wins its next two games (against UCLA and Notre Dame), they'll probably take the #2 spot

But don't forget Florida, there's a chance they could make it to the BCS too

College football desperately needs playoffs. Its a friggin' computer that does the rankings anyway, and that way there won't be debate about who deserves to play the #1 team.

How would that work though, I guess the bowl eligible teams would start off and work their way up

Well, divide the number of bowl games by half, and then you have the first round, then take half of the remainder and that's the second round, and keep on dividing it in half till there's only one game left, and that should be the BCS championship. And it doesn't always have to be one bowl like the Rose Bowl, bowls could take turns in what rounds they'll host (for example, one year the Rosebowl will be the final round, then nect year it could be the Orange Bowl, then the Tostitos Bowl, and so forth).

But that would be weird having the Rose Bowl in the first round, plus the Rose Bowl is always on New Years. I like the idea of rotating, but the Rose Bowl should always be last or second to last.

Well its unlikely now that Michigan will appear in the BCS, USC has taken the #2 spot and I think they still have a good chance of beating Ohio. But I agree, we'll never know which team is more fit to play Ohio unless we have a playoff system.

With the Bears and Colts loosing to teams like Miami and Dallas, idk who'll play in the superbowl. New England might return again.

Well Dallas isnt a bad team and the Colts run defense blows. I cant recall a team that couldnt stop the run making the sb. I think SD has a really good shot at making it. LT is the fastest player to score 100 tds in his career, is already on pace to break shaun alexander's record of 28-tds in a season (when seattle made the sb), and hes playing like a rb god (according to a sports columnist, hes already no. 6 on the list of all-time backs, www.sportsline.com/print/columns/story/9817736). sd's previous Achilles heel, their whole defense, is much better this year. sd's only Achilles heel now is their secondary, but theyve already shown they can come back from huge deficits (they scored a ridiculous 42 pts in the 2nd HALF, in the 49-41 win over the Bengals). as for the nfc, right now, if romo keeps playing like that, they can beat the Bears.

Now USC is out of the picture. What a mess.
On a side note, the Brut Sun Bowl (which takes place in none other than El Paso) will have some pretty recognizable teams again (they had UCLA last year)-
Oregon St. (who also beat USC this year) is a lock.
The other possibilities are Rutgers, West Virginia, and Mizzo. Louisville was possible but they won today.
I hope its West Virginia.
