No no no no! Putting it in vietnam would ruin it! So like all wars suck but vietnam sucked more. In africa at least he was this young hottie with his life ahead of him fighitng to protect the woman he loves from nazis bent on conquering the earth. But vietnam? it would just end the whole story on a bad note, he'll be like degraded, an old guy fighting a war that belonged to the next generation. So?...I'm sure there were plenty of WW2 vets that were in Vietnam.

Who says its gotta be a happy ending? His life can suck more and more, with Vietnam being the climax.

well yeah theres like people who fought in ww2 and vietnam, but it would just take away from the hope you had at the end of the movie if you continue it in vietnam

You don't even know how the story involving Vietnam will be like. We can't make that judgement till we read the story. I'm guessing even if it doesn't win, we could still post it on here for others to read.

The politics with Vietnam are more controversial compared to those in WW2. But the soldiers in Vietnam deserve as much respect as their fathers have, however questionable the motives of politicians may have been. I think it'll be good to see the Wounds of Sand story extended into Vietnam.

For sure there isn't going to be a sequel? It might be nice.

I'm kinda lazy to write a story for this, but a Nyoka story would be cool

We were even thinking of having a scene with the general, seeing how we have the most authentic location to do it, but in the end it just didn't fit into the storyline that well.
